Support Our "Pad for PAWS" Campaign
After 15 years and over 3,000 dog and 1,000 cat rescues, it is time for us to find our “Pad for PAWS”.
With a Permanent Facility ARF Could:
- rescue many more injured and sick animals requiring surgery, quarantine or veterinary care
- provide a refuge for nursing mums with puppies and kittens before placing them in foster homes
- provide a temporary holding area for animals awaiting foster homes
- have a positive effect on the well-being of the communities that we serve
- provide a location for humane education, dog training classes, and other events
We will need almost $1,000,000 to reach our “Pad for PAWS” goal, but we think that every dog or cat out there is worth it!

ARF's "Pad for Paws" Cookbook Fundraiser

"Pad for Paws" Cookbooks are now available for only $15 each.
Cookbooks are available at the following locations:
- Online at the ARF Store
- PetsMart showings (Saturdays from 1-3 pm at the Chinook PetsMart)
- Dogma Training & Pet Services Ltd.
- The Best Little Wordhouse Bookstore, Bragg Creek
- Banded Peak Vet Hospital, Bragg Creek
Can you help? If you or anyone you know would be interested in selling cookbooks on our behalf, please send us an email!
Adopt-a-thon
When: Sunday, March 21, 2010 11:00am - 4:00pm
Where: Ruffhouse Playcare Daycare for Dogs (2173 41 Av NE)
Looking to add to your family? Come out and meet some of our available dogs & puppies and talk to some of our volunteers who can answer all your questions about our rescue program.
DNA kits, cookbooks and logo items will be available for sale (cash or cheque).
Meet n' Greet with Riley & Pictures with Your Pooch!
Do you remember Riley? He was the dog who got his leg caught in a trap. Well, he's all healed up and in his forever home! He is going to be at the Adopt-a-thon to say "Hello" and "Thank-you" to all his supporters and followers. He will be there all day, so come on down to meet him or get your photo taken with him!
Our photographer is going to be on site from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm to take some stunning photos of you and your best friend (or you and Riley!). Print outs will be available for $5. All photography proceeds will go directly to help ARF's "Pad for Paws" Campaign.

2010 Pet Expo
When: March 27 - 28, 2010
Where: Big 4 Building, Stampede Park
Visit ARF at the 2010 Pet Expo at Stampede Park. Hours are from 10:00am - 6:00pm on Saturday and 11:00am - 5:00pm on Sunday.
RCCHP & ARF 2010 Charity Golf Tournament
When: Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 - tee-off @ 1:00 pm
Where: River Spirit Golf Club
Come join us for a great day of golf and at the same time support Rotary Club of Calgary Heritage Park and ARF!
Game includes: green fee, lunch, dinner, tee gift, and a chance to win many fabulous prizes!
