Happy Endings - Emma
Hi there,
11+ years ago, our family adopted Jaunty in Calgary. We named her Emma, and she was a sweet princess right from the first meeting. Since then, she has been on every family holiday, every weekend getaway and every hiking trip. Emma has been the world to us and we felt the need to thank you for giving us the opportunity to meet her and love her.
Unfortunately, in August she had an episode that turned out to be neurological, but she pulled out of it and was our bouncy loving Emma again. In November, she had another episode that lasted, so we put her on meds to get her to the point where they could x-ray her, but we never made it that far. After a month of different medications, trying different foods etc. she ate all her dinner on Dec 5 and cuddled everyone left in our house and was bouncy again. When we got up to feed her, she was on her way. She waited for her family to be with her and she passed on withing a half hour. She is at peace and hiking up a storm as I write this to thank you for the best 11 years I could ever have asked for. Your foundation does great work.
