3333M: Cash
Heinz 57.
Hi everyone! I thought it was time for another Cash update. I'm continuing to improve by leaps and bounds. I still go to daycare every day and I love it there. I start to squeak when we get close, and try to run right up to the door. Getting into the car is a breeze now, and I love riding in the back of my foster mom's SUV. I especially love it when my foster brother or sister is with me.
I've mostly figured out this walking on a leash thing now, too. I go on walks with my entire foster family, and as long as everyone stays close together, I'm really happy and confident. There are times when I still get nervous. It just takes a little patience and I bounce back really quickly.
I love cuddles, belly rubs, and attention. I also really love chasing balls in the yard. Now that I've got the basics of sit and down figured out, I've been working on the tougher stuff. My foster parents have been working with me on making the crate a less scary place. I can eat in it now, but please don't close the door! I'm working up to that, but I'm not quite there yet.
I'm not a really big dog; maybe about 50 pounds. My foster mom says I'm a really pretty colour and that my floppy ears give me a lot of character. She says I'm a really calm dog to have in the house. I guess that's because I'm happy to sleep anywhere and I don't ask for a lot of attention.
Because I'm still working on some things, I'd really like to be with a family that's got the patience to help me. I'm not quite at the point where I can be left alone in the house all day alone, but I do love going to daycare! I also really like being with other dogs at home. I learn a lot from them, and they help me to feel a lot safer.

These are not enough words to describe a dog with an awesome personality. Shooglie is a very active and happy girl. She is always eager to get involved in all activities in her foster home. Her favourite chore is to be her foster dad’s little snow angel, and helping him shovel the snow in the front yard. Shooglie is looking for an active home, where she gets lots of exercise. It would be great if there is somebody at home during the day, or where she would be able to go to work with. Shooglie might ask for a little bit more effort to please all her needs, but she will give you all her love, trust and true friendship back.

3369F: Saba is adopted!
An Alberta Dog.
You have heard of a "tom-girl" so I am the canine version of that! I love the outdoors and I will challenge all the bigger dogs, especially the St. Bernard. My favourite chew toys are sticks, and the steps on the deck! I love my food but Martin tends to woof most of it as I think he is having a growth spurt. When I get cuddled, I give lots of kisses so if I see Martin being cuddled, I hurry things up for my turn by tugging on his tail. Martin thinks that kissing is for sissies but I think they will get me adopted faster.
3371M: Foster
A Lucky Boy.
My name is Foster – that’s right, Foster the foster dog! I came to ARF with two broken legs. A while back now I had a successful surgery and then spent several weeks in recovery. I got to work on this water treadmill thing... maybe someday I’ll love swimming! My prognosis is good and even though I’ve been through a lot, I’m still a 100% loveable, cuddly, goofy puppy. I do all the things that regular pups do – like chase a ball, chill out at the dog park and play with my doggy friends. There are some things I can’t do, like go for jogs or super long hikes. But aside from that I get along with kitty cats and other pups, I love to play with my toys, chew my bones, please my master and curl up for some cuddles. I’m super clever too, or so my foster family says. I don’t make any yellow circles in the house. I sleep peacefully in my crate and know all kinds of cool tricks. You can read more about my rough start in life here and follow along with my blog.

3378M: Cheerio
A Painted Boy.
Hi, I'm a good-natured, affectionate little pup. I love company – people or dogs – and I don't like being left out of things! I am confident and curious, so right now I enjoy poking my nose into all sorts of things that are NOT for puppies (or so I'm told) – but I learn really quick for a little guy. I sleep through the night and am doing real well with house training (not perfect but trying!). I am a lot of fun... so adopt me and we can play, play, play ok??

3384M: Evan - Yay, I may have found my forever home... I'll keep you posted!
A Heinz 57.
This guy is full of fun, friendly and always ready to play. He catches onto things very quickly and plays with the other dogs well. Cats and the other animals here are not an issue for him at all. His recall and sits are coming along very well as is his house training. He can be a bit vocal at times and is wary of new situations, but it doesn't take him too long for him to get comfortable with things. He is a very nice pup.
3387F: Fenn - Yay, I may have found my forever home... I'll keep you posted!
A Heinz 57.
Here’s an update on how well I’m doing…I am a total sweetheart! My foster family adores me. I love my toys yet I am so gentle when I play with my little foster brother dog. I am very quiet and I prefer not to bark unless something REALLY catches my attention then I might let out a few woofs. My foster mom thinks I’m going to be a medium-large size dog but she makes no promises! I have small, dainty paws and I was the smallest of the litter. I am completely potty-trained – no accidents for me! I adore all humans big & small. I absolutely love going outside to play and I excel at lazing around on the deck. My foster family knows that when I find my forever home I will be the most loyal and lovable pet they could ever ask for!!!
3396M: Rocker
Heinz 57.
It's time I updated my profile. I'm still the sweet puppy with the soft heart-melting eyes, but I've grown a bit now. I'm such a good boy and get along well with my foster brother and sisters. I have very nice manners and pay close attention to my foster mom. I lie down while my meals are being prepared and wait by the side until the dish is down and then softly approach. No dish diving for me. The following is a list of things I love:
- to run real fast and also to play with my toys (even on my own, I'll throw the ball and chase it)
- play fetch with the ball and tug with my foster sister
- lie in my dog bed and roll around on my back and talk to myself with funny little noises
- being petted and getting belly rubs big time
- my crate. I sleep through the night no problem and even go in there to play with my foster sister sometimes or just to hang out. But when there's any action happening I'm right there with everyone else. I wouldn't want to miss a moment of fun.
I would love to find a forever home and get lots of attention.

3398M: Barney
Genuine Crossbreed.
Where do I even start! My short life has been filled with such adventure it’s hard to take it all in. I was brought to my foster home when I was about 6 weeks old and very tiny and scared, but, extremely CUTE. I like to throw that in case you hadn’t noticed. Initially I was very scared of people and all the new things around me, but I’ve become quite feisty in later life and as I’ve matured, love playing with my foster brother and sister. Now that I’m all of almost 9 lbs and 9 weeks old of running, playing and just plain fun dawg, I’m looking for my special new home. I’m still hesitant about new situations but love my toys and some nice snuggles.

3399F: Anna is adopted!
An Alberta Special.
Anna has been in foster care for only a few days now but has made quite an impression. She is a very lovable dog and is enjoying all of the attention she is getting. She is very mild mannered and sweet. Anna has learned quickly how to walk on a leash and actually heels exceptionally well. She is very responsive to positive reinforcement. We are so impressed with her as she is great with kids. She is a low key kind of girl who would make an excellent pet for someone who would enjoy a constant companion. She bonds quickly and has a huge heart to offer. Bonus: Anna is a very light shedder at least right now anyway!
3400F: Luna
A Prairie Girl.
I am getting settled into my foster home and learning that having a roof over my head, food in my belly and friends to play with is the best thing ever. I am becoming braver every day. I have even had a few naps curled up beside my foster mom. She is really impressed because I know to go potty outside and will even sit when asked. Every day gets easier as I adjust to my new life. Plus, every time I go around people they give me treats. A girl can't say no to that.

3401M: Denny
Heinz 57.
I like being around other dogs. They are rather fun. Being able to play and run and eat and play and sleep and cuddle and run. Wow. Life is good. I used to be shy but I am getting over that seriously fast. Just let me get to know you and I will be your loyal dedicated friend for life. I like to be close to MY people. I follow them around and can get a seriously good nap cuddled up to them. Not a bad life for a pup like me.

3403F: Allie
A Genuine Crossbreed.
I have only been in my foster home for a few days and I am such a happy girl. I am about 25 lbs and stand 17" tall at the shoulder. My foster mom plays fetch with me all the time, and every time I bring it back I get a treat. What a deal! I just started learning how to walk on a leash and have gotten better at it each day. I sleep in my kennel each night and never make a mess. I live with a cat who doesn’t like me much, but I keep trying to smell and play with him. My most favorite thing in the world is to cuddle and give kisses. I love meeting new people and even saw some kids on my walk the other day! I hope that my forever home likes going for long walks, and will be patient with me since I’m so new and still learning.

3408F: Boo
A Prairie Girl.
My name is Boo, and although I'm only 8 weeks old and have been through a lot, I am a brave girl. I had no issues coming into foster home and feeling at home. I love playing by myself, with my foster brothers and foster parents. I enjoy being where all the action is and sleep well in my kennel at night. I have a lot of energy and am super cute! I make funny noises and like to kick my feet up way too high when I run. I am looking forward to my new forever home!

3409M: Dexter (aka Glenn)
100% Mutt-a-roo-skee.
Hi my name is Dexter, and I have a ton of energy. I’m new to this living in a house thing, but my foster mom tells me I’m catching on pretty quick. She is impressed that I sleep in my kennel all night long without making a peep, but I’m still working on that potty training thing. I’ve already learned that sitting nicely gets me so many great things; I’ve been told I’m really smart. I love playing with my foster brother and sisters, and I’m also going to daycare so I am making a lot of new doggie friends. I can get a little carried away sometimes so my foster mom thinks it is important that I spend a lot of time with my friends. In my new forever home it would be great if they could be active enough to tire me out and teach me a lot of new things. I’m not sure about kids, but I think it would be better if my new forever home did not have any of those. Anyways gotta run. I hope to meet you soon.
