3402F: Ella
An Alberta Special.
Well I guess its about time I told you all something about me.
I was rescued after living on my own for quite a while. I hadn't had much to do with people so therefore I am not sure what to think of you all. I am very timid and sweet and not a mean bone in my body. I used to freeze when my foster family touched me but slowly and I mean slowly I am getting used to it. I am still very nervous though and try to get away but then once I get patted I warm up just a little.
I should go to someone with a lot of dog knowledge because I admit I am going to take a lot of work. I am really trying though and hopefully soon I will have a break through. You might remember my pup Boo, she was just adopted a short while ago and she loved all you people so I guess you can't be that bad.
I have not been on a leash yet, I have had it attached to me but as soon as that happens I take very few steps. I need to go to a quiet home with another playful friendly dog because I just love to play, and please no young children because they move too fast for me.
I know that one day I will come out of my shell and be the perfect companion for someone with a ton of love to give. Please really think seriously before applying for me because it needs to be the perfect fit and when it is, we both will know. I'll try to keep you posted on my progress as much as I can. Well gotta go play now... bye!

3432F: Monica
100% Mutt-a-roo-skee.
A bandit masked, foxy girl who is full of spunk. She is always ready for a tussle with her sisters, and has learned to respect the cat and his space. At walk times, she is out ahead sniffing and exploring.

3436M: Joey
100% Mutt-a-roo-skee.
I’m just like Joey on Friends – I’m cute and funny and make everyone laugh. I love cuddles and stuffy toys – and my brother, Ross. I’ve learned to go up and down the stairs and walk on a leash. I’m going to be a big boy, but I’m a good boy.

3440M: Omar
An Alberta Dog.
I’m the smallest of the litter but I make up for it in personality. I was the first to learn to sit and shake a paw, and now I love to show you my tricks. I love my new purple collar and am a pro on the leash. I’m working on the crate thing too, and my potty training is really moving along. I get along with other pups and my big sister. I love to play with her! I also think the cats in the house are pretty cool, and like Marlo says, we like to show our love by giving them lots of kisses. I can’t wait to meet you.

3448M: Chewy is adopted!
A Heinz 57.
I am active and love running with my foster brother. I keep up with him longer than my other foster siblings. I’m inquisitive and interested in anything going on. I enjoy my walks more than any of my foster siblings. I am intelligent; I’ve learned sit, and we’re working on other tricks.
3474F: Cassie is adopted!
A Heinz 57.
I’m smart and beautiful, feisty and cuddly, an awesome combination for wrapping the perfect sucker err... forever home around my little paw. While all those other puppies in my foster home are jumping around relying on their cuteness and charm for attention, I’m sitting back on my sweet hiney, shaking a paw and scarfing down the treats. I definitely know which side my kibble is buttered on.
Winks and kisses, Cassandra
3476F: Taylor (aka Zen)
A Heinz 57.
Well my mom figured it was time for an update! She wanted me to let everyone know that I am accident free now, which I know is a good thing. I do sleep through the whole night - I do so much playing during the day that I don't even fuss when it's bedtime.
There are 3 other dogs that live here, and I love them all. One of them always plays with me, and we don't really go anywhere without each other. We like to wrestle and chase each other through the house; when it gets to be too much our mom send us outside to continue out there.
I am such a friendly independent pup that my foster mom says I will do great where ever I go. I've never met a cat but really how different can that be? I love kids, and well I love everyone. I really enjoy getting cuddles but I don't stay for too long because there are so many things to do. When I need a break I just head to the laundry room and catch a few zzz's.
I know how to sit and lie down, and I'm still working on my leash walking, which if I must say so myself I don't like it, I'd rather just follow behind you or chase the other dogs at the park. But my mom did say it's an important thing to learn and like.
I'm still waiting for someone to take me home to my forever home. I know someone out there is looking for a girl just like me.

3479M: Trouble
A Heinz 57.
Hi! My name is Trouble. My foster mom says I have to be polite... but there is a new dog in town. I love to play and food time makes me dance... yet I have to sit before being fed. I am doing fantastic on this potty training business. I talk a bit but I'm just saying "Hi...is it supper time yet?" I'm going to be a stocky boy, and even though my name is Trouble, it is really my sister that is trouble... I just get caught when it was me telling her not to do that.

3483F: Avery
A Heinz 57.
I am a special girl. I am shy around people even though I really want to be close to them. I am extremely playful with the other dogs in my my foster home and love to show my foster family how happy I am to see them, but only from a distance. I am still a puppy so I am learning that life isn't so bad and has a lot of good to offer. My foster mom sees the potential in me to be a very loving and loyal dog. Oops, my Foster Mom wants to say something ...
"Avery's Foster Mom" - Avery will need to go to a home that has another dog that is confident as this helps her gain confidence in her surroundings. Avery has a very good personality and has a smile on her face at all times. She is extremely happy to see us when we come home and is learning to come closer to us each and every day. Her new family needs to have a lot of dog experience and understand that she is not going to be a dog that will jump up on the couch and cuddle with you, at least not right away. She needs a family that will understand that a bond of trust needs to develop. Each day we get closer to her becoming more comfortable around her foster family. But it is a slow process and she needs to go to a family that is sympathetic to her needs.

3484F: Leah is adopted!
A Heinz 57.
My foster Mum has nicknamed me Houdini as I have learned how to escape from my pen when I want to have a little more action during the day. I'm doing really well with potty training; I've only had one or two accidents since I've been here. I'm also learning 'sit' and 'down' (with the help of treats), and I'm doing pretty well at that too. I get a little anxious when it's bedtime, but once I settle down, I tend to sleep all night.
3486F: Chanel

3487F: Annie
A Heinz 57.
I am a cute and adorable pup. When you hold me, I completely trust you. I am curious but will sit back and watch as well. When my person throws a ball, I go get it. I am almost potty trained. I learn new things everyday, like sit, stay and come. I get trained best in the night. I ruff my chew toys and BBQ bone. I calm down with a nice belly rub. My favorite people are kids. I am a good runner and would be a great running companion. I hope you take me home. I will give you lots of love.

3488M: Jack
A Heinz 57.
I am a fun loving boy. I am learning new things everyday, like sit, stay, come and shake a paw. I am also learning my manners. I do anything for belly rubs and food. When it comes to treats, I am very attentive and I will give lots of “shake a paw”s. I love playing with my chew toys and going out to the park. When you come home, I greet you at the door. I like to jump 3 steps ahead on the stairs. I like to wrestle with my sibling and pounce on her like a rabbit. When you hold me, I relax in your arms. See you soon!

3489M: Parker
A Heinz 57.
Hi! I'm Parker. I'm what you could call a people pleaser. I really love to make people happy, and I work really hard to listen to what they're asking. I already know sit and down, and I'm working on lots more. House training is going really well for me, too. Living in a house has been really great! I sit and wait for my dinner, I love playing with Kongs and chew toys, I sleep all night in my crate, and I'm very good with the other dogs in the house. I'm not too big for an ARF dog - about 50 pounds. When I'm happy, my whole body wiggles, which is most of the time. I'm an all-round great guy, so fill out an application to meet me! Check me out on my blog.

3490M: Tyson - Yay, I may have found my forever home... I'll keep you posted!
A Heinz 57.
Tyson is an easy going guy. He is currently residing with 7 other dogs with no issues and loves to play with each and every one of them. Tyson is wearing a collar and walks well on a leash - he also knows "sit" and "down". He has no problem sharing his food dish with other pups wanting a taste of adult food. He is a real snuggle bug and just wants to be loved.
3491M: Balin is adopted!
A Heinz 57.
I'm a happy boy. I enjoy the sweet life of chasing my toys with a big bounce in my step. I also enjoy cuddling with humans and even fell asleep on my foster mom's lap. I'm still learning about how to hit the grass outside but for my first day, I'm doing well. I like my new crate and had a great first night's sleep in it. I don't use my voice much yet, so I'm pretty quiet for my foster parents. I'm timid around other dogs at the moment, but I am interested in how they play but not sure how to join in. I enjoyed my first walk with my foster mom, and everyone that met me thought I was a cute dog. I can't wait to join my forever family so that I can cuddle with them too.
3492F: Jodie
A Heinz 57.
Jodie is a lovely little girl - confident and well-mannered, she is an easy puppy to have around. She settles well but is full of fun and games when given the opportunity. Jodie is good with children and other dogs. She sleeps through the night and is fine in her crate for a couple of hours at a time during the day. She is still working on house-training but we are not anticipating any problems. Jodie is alert and eager to please... just a sweetie!!

3493F: Zara
A Heinz 57.
I love playing chase in the garden with my foster buddy Tizzy and I'm getting pretty good and fetching and retrieving a ball, as well as learning 'sit' and 'down'. I'm really good at sleeping all night in my crate, my foster Mum just puts me in there and I'm gone (without a sound). My potty training is coming along too, we go out in the garden every couple of hours and I always oblige!

3494F: Cecelia
A Pretty Girl.
My parents call me CeCe. I'm a bit more shy than my sister Bandit. It takes me a little longer to explore, but I won't be left behind for long! I'm sweet and cuddly and cute as can be. I'm a little vocal when left alone, but I settle down soon enough and sleep all the way through the night. I'm working on doing my business outside and learning how to sit.

3495F: Bandit
A Masked Crusader.
Look at my cute face and you'll see how I got my name. I'm a brave and curious little one, eager to explore. I'm also happy to sit and cuddle... but when I'm ready to go, I'm ready! I'm a little vocal when left alone, but I settle down soon enough and sleep all the way through the night. I'm working on doing my business outside and learning how to sit.

3497F: Sydney
A Heinz 57.
I am more of the laid back kind pup. I don’t like other dogs to play too rough with me. I can snuggle whole day with my foster humans if they let me. My foster mom said that I am the most well behaved dog she has ever seen. I sleep in my crate whole night and do not bark to wake her up in the morning. I am pretty good on potty training if my foster mom remembers to let me out to the yard.

3499F: Bella
A Heinz 57.
I am a very active girl. I like to play with all kind dogs all the time. I also love to cuddle with my foster mom. As soon she sits down and I will be on her lap in second. I am a very happy girl; I love to go to off leash park and say hi to all the dogs I meet at park but never run too far away from my foster mom. My foster mom said that I have amazing recall, of course because she always gives me treat when I go to her. I will like to find a forever home that will give me lots attention, play, walk and maybe another four legs friend to play with.

3500F: Midge is adopted!
A Heinz 57.
Midge is a lovely little lady that loves to be with people. She is happy playing with her foster brothers and sisters, plays with toys and when she is ready for a break she finds her foster Mom and curls up at her feet. Midge loves to snuggle and has a very happy disposition. She can be a little slow to warm up but once she is comfortable she becomes very outgoing. Midge is sleeping in a crate through the night, working hard on toileting and can make friends with everyone she meets. Midge has met a cat with no issue and currently lives with 5 other dogs with no problems.

3505M: Snickers is adopted!
A Black & Tan.
3508F: Rain
An ARF Special.
My name is Rain. I’m a 3 year old spunky girl. My foster mom says I’m super affectionate, maybe that is because I want her to pet me all the time, and I love to cuddle up on the couch or on the bed. I know how to sit, and will do it every time I’m asked. I love to eat treats, so I’m sure that I’ll be able to learn other tricks very quickly. I have been told that I’m a little rambunctious, and I tend to jump up on people when they come home, but I am just so excited to see them. I promise that I’ll work on that, but for now, I probably shouldn’t live with little kids that could be knocked over. I sleep in a crate at night, and I can sleep all night without any bother.
My ideal forever family would give me lots of exercise (maybe you need a running partner?), have time for lots of loving and petting, and would let me be the only dog in the house.
