We are very sad to report that a friend and one of ARF’s most dedicated cat foster moms is in hospital following a sudden and serious illness.
This has left Charlotte in desperate need of a home as our remaining cat foster homes are currently at capacity.
If you would like to foster or adopt Charlotte, please contact fostering.cats@arf.ab.ca or fill out our online adoption application.
ARF is proud to be part of a pilot project on the Tsuu T'ina Nation that aims to curb the number of roaming dogs living in the area.
Last summer, fifteen semi-feral female dogs were captured and implanted with a contraceptive called Deslorelin. Since then, not one of these dogs has had a litter. At one third the cost of a traditional spay, this procedure holds promise in the fight to reduce the population of unwanted dogs and puppies.

ARF has been rescuing dogs and cats for nearly 15 years, but we’ve never had a home base to call our own.
