Amateur Photography Contest - Closes Jan 31st!

Do you love taking photos? Here is your chance to take photos with a chance to win some great prizes!

ARF is holding an amateur photography contest with Adult and Youth divisions. Categories in the Adult division are: Black & White, Costumed Critter, Action Shot Dog, Action Shot Cat, Cutest Puppy, Cutest Kitten, Posed Dog, and Posed Cat. Categories in the Youth division are: Best Dog Photo and Best Cat Photo.

Submit your photos by Jan 31, 2012. Finalists in each category will be posted on the ARF website, Facebook page and Twitter feed, and a panel of professional photographers will select the winners.

Please read the rules and regulations for complete contest details, rules, and submission guidelines. Entries not meeting these rules and guidelines will not be considered.

Love You Fur-ever Adopt-a-thon

When: Sat, Feb 4, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Where: Abbeydale Community Hall (821 Abbeydale Drive NE)

Come out and meet some of our cats and dogs that are available for adoption, and meet the volunteers who can answer all your questions about ARF and our rescue program.

Browse and shop the many new logo items that are available for sale including treat bags, clothing, cookbooks, calendars and more! Purr-fect for Valentine's Day, ethical & compassionate fresh water pearl earrings from the Yangtze River Basin will also be available. The concession will be open for snacks and drinks with all proceeds going to ARF.
